Where Did September Go?

We had an amazing Terry Fox Run and now we are already gearing up for an incredible Turkey Trot. Once upon a time, I was Kinosayo's music teacher. It's been a bit of a gift to teach just 1 class of music this year - my favourite people! We've been exploring the treble staff, playing percussion in multiple parts, and experimented with our first music compositions. 

In math, we started using hands-on problem solving centers instead of worksheets every day. Not only are we solving more problems than in a traditional math class, it looks way more fun! 

We are very excited to welcome Miss Kailie, our Student Teacher, back into the classroom. We missed you! Can't wait for all the exciting things she has planned for 4O. 

I have been so lucky to receive numerous compliments about our class already this year. From the Art teacher to the Librarian, more and more people have made a point to come and tell me what wonderful students I have. They are excellent listeners, follow directions, and are truly kind human beings. I could brag about our kiddos all day every day!
