This is the time of year where things start to pile up! I wanted to send a batch of photos to the gallery before the Spring Collective and Drumheller.
The first batch is our trip to Telus World of Science! We were lucky enough to have a fantastic schedule that let us explore the galleries all morning before our robotics class and star show in the afternoon. I love watching which things get the kids excited and curious, and the places they want to keep coming back to explore. The robotics lesson was very easy to jump into, and our robots were dropping off cargo to Saturn in no time. We're going to have to keep up our coding skills back at school! There are lots of creative projects to explore useful and transferable coding skills, even without our own little robots.
Phys Ed has been a highlight this last month! Gymnastics and creative movement challenges made each class more exciting than the last. I couldn't help popping in to snap a few pictures several times each week! The kids were learning so many unique skills and working hard. Plus, having so much fun!
We are getting ready for our Spring Collective performance on May 15th. Mrs. Harris asked 4O to come up with ideas to decorate the gym (because they're the best and most amazing students, of course). They decided to create colourful scenes outside a grey window, and have been working on massive group paintings that will really make our collective story, "The Curious Why", come alive. We can't wait to see you there and show off our creative talents!
