Welcome to Grade Four!

And welcome to our class website! Here you will find pictures in the gallery and our weekly class schedule. Please note that science and social will alternate every day so when they fall on the schedule will always change - but they will always be the last hour of the day. Library is on Wednesdays!

We have one of the kindest and hardest working group of kiddos I have ever had the privilege to teach. We've been working on learning new routines, from morning grammar and math reviews to spelling to finding the new classrooms for our specialty classes. It's been a whirlwind of business for the first week and a bit, but I did manage to take a handful of pictures. You'll see lots of cozy places to sit and work in our classroom! We dove right into playing instruments in music class and Mrs. Herman has them hyped for running club. On Friday, students cheered on the teachers (or the Gr. 6's) in our annual soccer game. 

Thank you to everyone who came out to see the classroom on Thursday! I am very sorry for not getting the chance to talk to each of you - please reach out any time if you have any concerns. We should have a fairly quiet rest of September while we get used to a new grade, new teachers, and build our classroom community. Off to a great start!
