It's been a snowstorm outside and inside - a whirlwind of activity in the last several weeks. Everyone was so sad to say goodbye to Miss Kailie but wished her the best as she headed back to finish her degree at University. Students were excited to share the printed versions of their stories that they had been working on for weeks. In math we've been playing with fractions in several different ways, including manipulatives, puzzles hidden around the room, centers, and good old-fashioned worksheets. Miss Kailie had a wonderful group of kiddos who worked hard on all the different ways of teaching and learning she wanted to try with them.
December went by far too quickly! We worked hard on our little performance of "Clean the Halls" featuring the hand chimes. Thank you to everyone who came out to watch us perform in person! The video is available in the gallery if you missed it or would like to relive a little of that magic. Speaking o magic, "Santa's Workshop" was another hit this year. There were so many cool things available for the kids to shop for and the library looked absolutely amazing. We are so lucky to have such dedicated parents who work this hard for a magical experience every year!
